THE NARRATIVE
The Iman Wear was born from a name β my sonβs name, Iman, meaning βfaith.β But itβs more than a name. Itβs a story of resilience, rebirth, and authenticity. This brand challenges cultural stereotypes, finding pride in Arabic roots and transforming them into wearable strength.
THE MISSION
To design clothing that bridges culture and confidence. Rooted in Arabic heritage and built on principles of inclusivity, our collections blend clean silhouettes with powerful script, crafting garments that speak before you do. We aim to offer refined, unapologetic design for all genders β not just Arabs or Muslims β but for anyone who moves with intention.

Iβm Hakeem Ammar Cameron-Smith, founder of The Iman Wear. When I reverted to Islam, I faced isolation, alienation, and judgment β often from those closest to me. That experience taught me to be unapologetically myself, and from that strength, The Iman Wear was born.
Fashion speaks before we do. It expresses who we are without saying a word.
This brand is named after my firstborn son, Iman β a constant source of inspiration and purpose. The beauty of Arabic culture is often misunderstood, shaped by stigma, misrepresentation in the media, or simple ignorance. My mission is to elevate Arabic patterns, text, and design into high-end fashion β making it not just accepted, but admired. I want people to wear these pieces with confidence and pride in who they are.
